Founding creators: the first 30–50

Why so few, so deliberately?

A feed is only worth opening if it’s already full of great work. So instead of a big splashy launch, Vistafolk starts with roughly 30–50 founding creators, a few hundred invited viewers, and a a deliberate effort to recruit relevant commercial partners — all in one tight niche where creators, viewers, collaborators, and sponsors can develop a real reason to meet. Partners and paid work are not guaranteed.

What founding creators get

• Early participation in the model. A smaller eligible community may mean a larger proportional share of a small pool, but no amount or payment is guaranteed.
• A real say in the reward charter. The community-pool formula is still a hypothesis. Founding creators help pressure-test it before it’s set.
• First position in the shadow ledger. You’ll see how rewards are calculated from day one, before payouts begin.
• A seat before the crowd. Early members shape the culture, the moderation norms, and which niche comes next.
• A visible commercial signal. Tell us whether you want creator collaborators, brand partnerships, local briefs, or community rewards and help shape how that intent appears in the product.
• Direct access. A small team, real conversations, and your feedback actually changing the product.

What we’re looking for

• You make visual work you’re genuinely proud of — photos or short video.
• You post regularly and care about the craft, not just the numbers.
• You’re into helping a community stay healthy, not just growing your own count.
• You’re honest about the fact that early rewards will be small while the platform is small.

The honest expectations

Founding creators aren’t investors and don’t get equity — Vistafolk is community-rewarded, not community-owned. Rewards start in a shadow ledger, and real payouts come later, only after the formula is tested and only for eligible adults in supported regions. What you’re signing up for is influence, early access, and the chance to help design a fairer split and a more useful path to partnerships.
